Sudhangshu Shekhar Biswal

Founder & Director

Sudhangshu is an accomplished Chartered Accountant (CA) and Cost & Management Accountant (CMA). He has also completed a program in Strategic Finance from Asian Institute of Management (AIM), Manila, Philippines.

Sudhangshu had been a part of top management and Board of various organisations with cross functional experience in Corporate Strategy, Fund Raising, Fund Planning & Treasury, Accounts & Taxation, MIS & Budget, Secretarial & Board Compliance and Business Development. He has more than 25 years of experience across various industries like Consulting, Software, Aviation, Education, Infrastructure and Real Estate.

Sudhangshu is Independent Non-Executive Director in listed and non-listed companies including NBFC’s along with advisor to various Corporates and High Net worth Individuals (HNI’s). Sudhangshu is also a Director in the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (National Apex Chamber) and a Member of the Board of Advisors of Confederation of Young Leaders (CYL).

Sudhangshu’s past organisation/experience include:

  • Executive Director and Board Member with Omaxe Limited, a listed company in NSE and BSE. Sudhangshu has raised more than US$1.1 billion funds during his tenure at Omaxe, through various innovative and unique structures. Apart from his core function of Corporate Strategy and fund raising, he was foreseeing various other functions like Corporate Treasury, Corporate Accounts, MIS, Direct and Indirect Taxation and Secretarial.
  • Vice President-Finance (Head of Finance) of Zoom Infra-Estates Private Limited for four years. Sudhangshu was instrumental in successful bidding for projects worth $ 2.5 billion in the category of budget Hotels, Infrastructure and Real Estate sector projects.
  • Group Financial Controller of IMT Group (Institute of Management Technology) for six years having diversified business interests into Education, Aviation, IT and ITES, Motels, etc. During his 6 years stint with the group, the business grew by 5 times with opening up of new campuses in Nagpur, Hyderabad and Dubai. Other noteworthy achievements include setting up Software Development Centre at New Delhi and ITES Centre at Ghaziabad from scratch. He made them successful and thereafter 100% divestment was done to Adani’s.
  • Co-founded Bal Biswal Chakra (BBC), Consulting Firm as Managing Partner in February 1998 and existed in March 2000 to join IMT Group.

Pragnya Routray

Director

Pragnya Routray is a Director in OMK. She has over 22 years of rich experience in the field of Law.

Ms. Routray is graduated in Science from Berhampur University, Odisha in 1995 and completed Degree in Law (LLB) from Lingaraj Law College, Odisha in 1999.

Ms. Routray is a member of the Delhi High Court Bar Association since 2000. She has been a practicing Advocate in the Supreme Court of India, High Court of Delhi, National Company law Tribunal (NCLT), National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT),and various District Courts and other forums.

Ms. Routray’s area of expertise includes Constitutional writ matters relating to Service, Labour, Company Law, Land, Corporate Laws, Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act (RERA, Companies Act, 2013, Electricity, Education, Telecommunication, Tender, MCD/NDMC, Trademark, Police action and inaction and ultra-vires among others.

Surjit Singh

Director

Mr. Surjit Singh is a Director in OMK. He has 15+ years of rich experience in the field of Law.

Mr. Singh is graduated in Arts from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, Punjab in 2002 and completed Degree in Law (LLB) from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, Punjab in 2006.

Mr. Singh is a member of Bar Council of Punjab & Haryana since 2006. He has been an practicing Advocate before the Supreme Court of India, the High Court of Delhi, High Court of Punjab & Haryana, National Company law Tribunal (NCLT), National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT),and various District Court and other forums in NCT Delhi, Chandigarh, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh since last 15 years.

A qualified lawyer with over 15 years of experience in Civil and Revenue litigation, Legal Documentation, Drafting & Vetting, pleading before the Supreme Court of India, the High Court of Delhi, NCLT, various District Courts & Revenue Courts. Adept at involved in drafting, vetting, preparing agreements, give expert opinion on various issues including title search reports and due diligence reports pertaining to land. Matter’s relating the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act (RERA), 2016.

Expertise in Title Search & Due-Diligence Report in respect of both agricultural & non-agricultural plots, residential and commercial properties including inspection of sites and records with Patwari / Sub-Registrar (s) / Municipality(s) / Panchayat / Tehsildar and agreements, compliances under Labour legislations, litigations etc. and agreement pertaining to property transaction such as sale agreements, lease agreements, deeds and documents of all immovable properties.

He has worked as Retainer with Ansal Properties Limited, Alchemist Realty Limited, National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) and reputed Delhi based law firm H.K.J. & Associates and the firm is on the panel of many reputed real estate developers like Unitech Ltd., DLF Group, Eldeco Infrastructure, Ashiana Homes and other groups includes Religare Group, Bharti Group, etc. for Corporate and Real Estate litigations.

Manas Ranjan Bal

Strategic Advisor

Manas Ranjan Bal is a Strategic Advisor of the Company . He is having more than 25 years of experience across industries and in various domains in Finance. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree of Commerce (Hons) and also a qualified Chartered Accountant. Currently, he is working as a Group Financial Controller (VP – Finance) with Mahindra Comviva.

In his immediate previous assignment, he has worked as a Group Controller (VP – Finance) with Mahindra Comviva. He was managing the Finance Operation, Corporate Loan and Taxation for the entire group covering APAC, Africa, Europe and South America. He is also instrumental in company’s M & A portfolio. He was part of both buy and sales side of M&A and experienced in dealing with investors on fund raising activities.

He has also worked with Sony India for more than six years in the factory environment and was taking care the entire finance operation, Polaris Software as on Oracle expert, Ericsson India for three years in setting up SSC and Finance control areas, and Accor group for near to five years in various capacities. As an established finance leader, Manas has extensive and rich global experience including shareholder value creation, corporate governance, business partnering, mergers and acquisitions, treasury and funding, cost management, financial operations, taxation, financial accounting and reporting. He has also experience in setting up of shared service centres for Ericsson and Accor Advantage plus both for India and abroad business operations.

Tarun Sharma

Business Head - Retail

Mr. Tarun Sharma heads Retail Loan & Asset vertical of OMK and is designated Business Head – Retail Loans & Assets. Mr. Tarun is the part of OMK Retail that drives and overseas OMK growth charter.

Mr. Tarun is accomplished financial professional with an illustrious career spanning more than 19 years has focused on various facts of the financial services industry which includes Banking, NBFC and Financial service sector. He is widely recognised for his strength in Retail Loan Market & Assets industry.

Mr Tarun was appointed in December 2022, to spearhead the business with his sharp acumen which will led the achievement of several key milestones. He was acknowledged for his contribution to the growth of the Retail Loans & Assets and Housing Finance Market in India.

He has been responsible for business planning, sales & distribution, launching new products & processes, product Strategy and setting up and running distribution networks.

Vaibhav Sharda

Head of Investment Banking

Vaibhav Sharda is a highly skilled and experienced professional specializing in investment banking, family office management, and strategic financial consulting. With a career spanning over a decade, he has demonstrated expertise in financial and investment analysis, fundraising, deal origination, and business development. Vaibhav’s extensive experience includes working with high-profile family offices and advising on substantial public and private market deals in India and the GCC via VC/PE/FO network.

Education:
Vaibhav earned his MBA in Finance from HULT International Business School in Dubai, UAE, in 2014. During his MBA, Vaibhav gained international exposure through a campus rotation to London. He demonstrated leadership as the Vice-President of the Finance Club and President of the Real Estate Club.
Vaibhav completed his Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology at Nagpur University, Maharashtra, India, where he was actively involved in various committees, including the Coordination Committee for the Annual Technical Competition and the Indoor Sports Coordination Committee in 2008. This blend of finance and technology education has equipped Vaibhav with a unique and versatile skill set, making him well-suited for the complexities and challenges in the financial sector.

Professional Experience:
Before joining OMK Advisors, Vaibhav held several key positions i.e. Vice President of Investment Banking at A. Khorakiwala Family Office in Mumbai, Senior Consultant in Family Office & Investment Banking at Network People Services Technologies (NPST) Ltd in Mumbai,
Investment-focused roles at Vinod Kumar Mittal Family Office (Now part of Sajjan Jindal-led JSW Group), Business Development and Deal Deal Origination and Business Development in Capwise Financial Services Pvt Ltd, Raman Parwal & Co., and Monal Capital Pvt Ltd in Mumbai. He began his professional journey at JSW-Ispat Ltd in Mumbai, then moved to set up Family Office at Lloyds Steel marking the start of a path that would see him cultivate a wealth of experience in the field of Investment Banking.

Anshul Garg

Strategic Advisor

Anshul Garg is a seasoned banker with two decades of experience in both multinational corporations (MNCs) and Indian organizations. His expertise in financial advisory across various asset classes, investment banking, and debt syndication, particularly within banking and non-banking financial company (NBFC) platforms, represents a rare and hard-earned skill set.

With a well-rounded background in headquarters roles in the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) sector, as well as in strategy and sales, Anshul is well-equipped to advise ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNIs) and institutions on family office offerings, wealth advisory services, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transaction advisory, and debt syndication.

Mr. Garg enjoyed a distinguished career at GCG Citibank India, where he was recognized as a star performer before deciding to focus fully on the NBFC and wealth management space. He has also worked with prestigious organizations like Julius Baer and JM Financial Services. Additionally, he is a graduate of the elite Citibank EMA leadership program.

Anshul’s academic credentials are equally impressive. He earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from Panjab University Chandigarh in 2004, followed by a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the renowned Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur in 2007.
